Ground-screw footings go in without excavation, the framing is protected with waterproof tape, and the boards are locked down with hidden fasteners, so you get a clean surface with zero visible face screws.

How long does it take to build a composite deck?
Most builds take one to three weeks, depending on the size of the project, weather, and inspections. Design, permits, and material ordering add a few weeks up front, so the earlier you start, the more build dates you have to choose from. We build year-round, even in the winter.
Why composite instead of wood?
Composite decking gives you the look of wood without the upkeep. It will not splinter, rot, warp, or stain the way wood does, it never needs sanding or sealing, and most Trex boards are made with about 95% recycled materials. Browse the current Trex colors and Deckorators colors we install.
Can you replace my old wood deck with a composite deck?
Yes. Deck replacement is one of the most common projects we do. We remove the old deck, bring anything behind the ledger up to code, and build the new composite deck on rot-proof galvanized steel ground screws. If your framing is still sound, deck resurfacing may be an option too.
What warranty comes with the deck?
Every deck we build comes with our Lifetime Transferable Workmanship & Materials Warranty, the only one of its kind in Michigan. It covers the workmanship and the materials for as long as you own the home, and it transfers to the next owner if you sell.
